Apparently it's real and I read some interviews with her where she says she's always felt like a freak, wasn't popular with guys (especially in her native Romania where extra weight is harder to achieve and thus more desirable than thinness). I vote for real.

No one should aim for this because obviously it's very unusual but (assuming it's true) it's her body and I'm sorry people feel like they can criticize how she looks.

Yes they do, or you're deformed. Hipbone to knee, they will fall right in the middle. Basic anatomy.
