| 1542...you must be a bitter working parent who has more important things to do than being with your kids...see ow awful that looks |
Yeah, it would be real fun to be a twin with the teacher, so cool.

Geez, PP. To some kids, esp. the younger ones, I'm sure they would enjoy it more than being "twinless." |
| I think twin day is a cute idea. Our ES does it every year and it's optional of course but the kids think it's fun. My DC always where's a sports jersey or one of his team jerseys so there are plenty of kids to choose from to look alike. You are taking this too serious. |
Our school has sports jersey day. Any sport, any school, city, etc. Last couple of years more Barcelona than Redskins.
I'm parent of twins. If our school had twin day, my kids would want to dress differently on purpose. Valentine's day is kind of dumb IMHO. Saw some parents scribbling wildly on tiny cards at drop off today. My kids' were unsigned. Hope classmates aren't upset. I'm sure theyll get over it. |
| Every school my kids have been in, from K through high school, has done "twin day". Girls especially tend to morph it into triplet or quadruplet day. Some kids choose not to bother with it, so it's not like every kid except for one has a twin. It typically comes somewhere during "spirit week", which includes pajamas day, crazy hair/hat day, and sports jersey day. While I'm sure if you tried hard you could think of a reason each of these is somehow wrong or exclusive, better to just chill and roll with it. Really. |

I agree with you OP. Twin day sounds much worse than not giving everyone a valentine - everyone, now really, where is the fun in that?-
However, if done, I would promote the "twins or triplet or quadruplet" idea - of the PP. Twins with the teacher, not the greatest idea, imho, unless these are really young kids. |
