I think its a lot easier because its just easier to add up to 34 or however many point you get than 1200-2000 calories. It's just easier to count lower numbers. Also, I think its easier to lie to yourself with calories - "these chips are only 200 calories, that's not too much out of 2000 total calories". When you see it in points its much starker. I think its great that there are a lot of competing ideas out there. Hopefully someone will come along with the next great system and we can all hope on board. Until then, if it ain't broken (ie you are losing or maintaining your weightloss) don't fix it. |
