Just for fun poll: ass or face?

Face! I'd rather have a gorgeous face and hair and eat what I want.

I value a nice face over a nice body in men too. I'll take a belly and a gorgeous smile over freddy kreuger with pecs anyday.

I wonder what men would say. More interesting question would be:
1) average-to-bad face with GREAT body
2) Average-to-fat body with GORGEOUS face

Problem is the body is only going to get worse, which means seriously bad in 20 years if already bad!

I thought the face/ass trade-off was about how if you were skinny enough to have a perfect ass, you were too skinny to keep your face looking good as you aged. Think Monica on Friends.

I would prefer ass but I seem to have gone with face.

I would go with number 2, absolutely.

Beauty does not actually fade if it is taken care of. Sure, no one is 27 forever, but I am pretty happy with my looks at almost 50.

I have a less than perfect body, even with working out and diet. However, I do have a pretty face and I think I will , God willing, pretty much always be considered pretty. Hhis is not bragging. My thighs are large and I have cankles! but men seem to be attracted to me.

Here is a slight spin-off, how many of you that answered chose what you naturally have as the preferred outcome?

I chose face and, as between the two, I was probably more gifted on the face front than body. Although I am happy with my body it reflects substantial effort, I have always had a pretty face and cannot imagine my life without it.

Face. And yes, I chose what I naturally have (not that it's gorgeous, just I'm an attractive slightly overweight person). Maybe we are all saying face because we are used to what we see in the mirror and it's odd to consider otherwise. I agree with whoever said it's possible to take care of your looks; I have an easier time imagining maintaining my face that keeping (or getting, realistically) my body skinny as I age.

But a good body stands out more as we age; few women have one after 40!
