It's not called "Club Sib" for no reason. |

Thank you so much everyone! I'm leaning heavily towards Marylou Tietz or Susan Messina (unfortunately Rosebud is almost an hour's drive from our place).
I've heard that Susan Messina is pretty touchy-feely. My husband and I are pretty pragmatic people and I'm not sure if that will work for us. For those of you who took her class, do you feel like it was a little artsy, or was it more on the practical side? Thank you! |
| I highly recommend Amy's weekend class with Momease at GW. She's one of their teachers and is fabulous. |
| PP who recommended Susan Messina. Did not think she was touchy feely at all. My husband is the biggest cynic ever, so not crunchy, and he thought she was good. |
| Amy no longer teaches for Momease. She now teaches in Manassas at the George Mason Freedom and Aquatic Center. Her website is www.rosebuddoula.net |

I think you are referring to a different Amy. The Amy who teaches weekend classes at GW is Amy Ard. She is really great! She is teaching a new one-day class (students can choose either Saturday or Sunday) with Caitlin Novak (who is also really great!). They are both doulas in addition to being childbirth educators. The next one is May 26 or 27th. Here's the info:
