81st percentile is not low, just lower. Unless it's below, say, 63rd, it's not an issue.

At least 60 % of gifted children have an average or below average processing speed. What you don't see is:

Verbal comprehension: 50th%
Perceptual reasoning: 47th%
processing speed: 99th%

That will never happen, but the reverse does.
