Not really.

I grew up in Kensington and loved it. There is a great sense of community there, but there really aren't any restaurants at all. If you lived in Old Town Kensington you could walk to the post office, a 7/11 type store, Safeway and a few other stores, but no restaurants.
Do not buy in the Einstein HS pyramid. The rest of Kensington goes to either BCC or WJ which are much better schools.

Wheaton Plaza...hopefully without the accompanying gas station.

Or, hopefully with the gas station. We want the gas station. And, there is talk about Walmart and Kohls in Aspen Hill.

To be honest, I don't want the gas station.

There are plenty of gas stations around and the lines at Costco w gas stations is terrible.

I'm not sure why they want to put in a gas station. Every Costco that I've been to has been packed. It's not like they need a gas station to get buyers to visit.

I do hope one day MoCo will see the light and let them carry beer and wine. I envy my VA friends who can shop for wine and beer.

Back on topic, I do like that Kensington's like a suburb to Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Wheaton, Aspen Hill, and Rockville. Strange, I know.
