Looking for a good mascara and eyeliner

I use Maybelline Waterproof Ultra Liner (about $7).

Personally, I don't like MAC liner. MAC is more expensive and inconvenient to use. It comes in a tiny jar with a screw off lid. It does included the brush. So, you have to buy it separately for about $18. You dip the brush in the jar and scrape off on the side of the jar, which gets caked and becomes a dried mess.

I like drug store liners. Brush is included. And it's cheaper and easier to use.

You can find them almost anywhere: CVS, Giant.

Eyeliner I use clinique, great staying power.

The loreal tube mascara is the best. It is the only kind that doesn't smudge or irritate my eyes.

Tube mascaras are great! I prefer blinc, they created the concept and no other brand compares in terms of performance...I tried them (including L'Oreal) all in hopes of a cheaper solution, but so far...it seems you get what you pay for

I love bobbi brown gel eyeliner. It comes in a pot and you have to apply it with a brush, but even I can do it and I have shaky hands. It stays all day. I love maybelline the falsies mascara and I also use diorshow extase mascara.

Drugstore: best eyeliner by far: Loreal Extra Intense liquid pencil. Am in love with this one! Mascara: Maybelline Falsies (in the hot pink tube). Good stuff.

Anonymous wrote:I love, love, love a mascara that used to be called Fiberwig sold at Sephora, now called d.j.v. beautenizer. My skin tends to have everything smudge and smear and this is really the first one that didn't make me look like a racoon at the end of the day.

+1. I've tried a bunch, both drug and department stores, and this one does not smudge when all others did. The downside is that it doesn't have a huge wow factor, like DiorShow. It extends lashes, definitely, but it doesn't do a lot the plump/thicken. So it's a great, 16-hour day mascara, but for evenings, I use DiorShow.

Anonymous wrote:Whatever you do, don't use bare minearls mascara. I got a free sample of it and tried it, and by the time I got to work everyone was asking me if I had a black eye! Went to teh bathroom and saw that the mascara was flaking off and created a huge dark shadow under each eye.

Yes, this happened to me too!! The mascara did not dry

Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner
Chanel Inimitables Mascara (I may have spelled that wrong!)
