Both. |
The earth is more than 6000 years old. I have held stone tools made by people that are 9000 years old (and there are older, I am just not fortunate enough to have found them yet on a site).
I don't mind one bit if you believe in both so long as you don't ignore the science part. <3 your friendly neighborhood archaeologist. |
Creation - not in 7 24 hr days. With adaptation to environment. |
Almost four in ten is a lot more than one in four. Yikes. |
Evolution here. My inlaws are young earth creationists. When they get going, I sometimes detach and imagine myself an anthropologist. |
Evolution. Also big bang, but I don't believe in god. My DH believes in god and struggles with the big-bang-kicked-off-by-god idea (and is not at all conservative, is a PhD scientist, and doesn't doubt evolution at all). |
Both.
There is no conflict between the two. |
A combination of both, leaning on the creation side of things. I absolutely believe in God and believe He created the universe but I don't know (or care) about the specifics of how that happened. Really, does it matter?
|
You're critical thinking is awesome! You must have rocked science in high school & college. |
College? Surely you jest. |
threatened much? Why do you care so much that someone else the odacity not to care how the planet was created? Why does it matter? How does it affect the quality of your life? |
Evolution. |
Evolution. |
Creation |
It's audacity. Because that theory underpins in one way or another most of the progress that is made in biology today, for people who think scientific progress is important. For those who are happy to live in a hut without basic infrastructure or medical care it should indeed not matter at all. |
