Franklin Montessori instructors

Franklin mom of a current student, plus one alum here. Franklin teachers are absolutely warm and caring. From what I have seen over the years, each lead teacher has their own style and personality, butbthey are absolutely caring, dedicated and thoughtful. So much so, i have seen teachers advocate for kids on many levels. My kids both love Franklin- the alum child has very fond memories of not only old friends during the years at Franklin but also of the former lead teacher and assistant teachers. My older child still gets hugs from his old teachers. I know that during the playdate and tour, there isn't much interaction between prospective parents and teaches, but at that stage, the focus is on determining whether Montessori is a good fit fo your child.

My son goes to franklin, he will stay for kindergarden too, and my dougter who just turned 3, she will start next semester at rockville franklin .My son loves it, and we are very happy.

I agree with this. We're at a different for-profit Montessori school (not Franklin) and there is definitely a sense that the 'bottom-line' is the most important thing (not the kids).

Not sure if it's different at non-profits, but I'd imagine it can't be any worse!

Speaking of which, where do the profits go? Do the teachers have better pay and benefits than at non-profit schools? The facilities seemed nice enough, but I've also seen non-profit schools that were just as nice.
