BTW- Flowers in the Attic was the first adult book I ever read. My mom was absorbed in it and I had just begun to read long, chapter books. As soon as she had put it on the shelf I snuck it to my room. It boggled my 8 year old mind. I reread parts of it for years. Yick! Then there was the follow up movie. Oh boy.

PLus, folgers is getting a ton of hits from this! I'm sure they didn't mean for it to come across as pervy, but it's also amazing that nobody in their shop said "hm, this seems a bit creepy to me."

We are not the PREVS. Folgers is indeed a PREV, however, and are using PREVVY ways to get more bang for their buck.

I do think it will backfire b/c most people hate PREVS.

THANK YOU for this thread. I HATE this commercial but for different reasons (I can't stand the whole I just left West Africa--one of the best places for coffee--but all I have been thinking about is sh*tty Folgers coffee) But I this angle, yup, I embrace that too...
