I've been rear-ended twice in the past year.
I guess that's par for the course since the traffic here is so wretched, what with all the hordes of people making their way in and out of the city and so few real roads to do it on because everything in the burbs ends in a freaking cul-de-sac.

I hit a deer about 6 years ago. I haven't been in an accident since.

I did have my fair share of accidents when I was driving for a living. Driving for 55+ hours a week increases your chances of an accident.

My favorite accident was when I was waiting to leave a parking garage. The woman ahead of me decided she'd rather use a different lane, so she through it into reverse, and backed up, without looking, into me. I was also t-boned at an intersection by a young lady who ran a red light. Twice my car was sideswiped when parked alongside my house, and twice notes were left. My one at fault accident occurred during rush hour when I rear ended a car in the interstate. The driver of the other car was on the phone, and she was stopped in the lane despite the fact that traffic in all lanes was moving, so I couldn't avoid her. Sigh. Right after I got the damage fixed on that, someone backed into my parked car in a mall parking lot. No note. Perhaps it's time for me to get a bicycle. It is depressing to look at all this.
