But they are so worth it. They make it through 2 kids and countless washings, and still look good enough to donate.

No....Hanna Andersson clothes are a status symbol. That's it.

Why you gotta be like that? Nobody is hating on your choices here. I am a big HA fan for several reasons, and this is a great sale, almost 50% off. Im on kid #3 and the HA clothes we've passed down have held up beautifully. I actually do have a fair amount of Carters and in my experience, the stuff that has made it down to my third is really showing the wear and tear. My sister and I have traded HA pajamas back and forth, and some have been worn by 7 children and still look and fit perfectly. If HA is not for you, nobody is saying it should be, so why do you have to shame others' choices?

Does anyone know if $25 is as low as the pajamas typically go? I remember reading something about an after-Christmas sale. I'd like to know if I should order now or wait.

TIA!

+1 and great post! I don't know why DCUM gets so critical sometimes. If you don't care for HA why read the post?

They have a big sale in the summer and I got pajamas for $19 a pair then.

I don't think this sale is that great. I got a better deal a few days ago with the 50% off basics.

And there is no comparison to Carter's, etc. Carter's stuff doesn't even survive one kid.

I have got Carter's pjs thay I got on consignment that are on their 3rd kid in my house. They look fine and don't have holes and cost me about 3 bucks!!

I seriously doubt this. A good consignment shop does not take Carters. I purchased a carters PJ 3 months ago and the colors have faded. No holes, but it looks old. HA holds much better. Also, lets not forget that the $25 HA PJ is from organic cotton, which Carters is not. Carters cotton is thin too.

It's the best sale with the most options. I got a ton during their clearance, but I couldn't be choosy with patterns. Also if you want any of the licensed ones (Mickey, Star Wars, etc) this is your best opportunity. So yes, they do go less than $25 some times, but not much less, and fewer options.

Also in the store, teachers and military get 15% off, just have to ask and show ID.

What a dumb thing to take offense at!!

Thanks for all the advice, especially the teacher's discount! I bit and bought 2 pjs each for 3 kids, with one matching outfit for myself, haha. The kids actually often use them to play at home, when they don't like to wear jeans etc. And they do look cute.
I was introduced to HA when I bought one of their winter coats in a used clothing store. We are now using it for our third kid (heavy use - 2 years per kid), and it still looks like new. Amazing!

I wish they have free shipping.

you can ship free to a store. i do agree that their shipping policy is a hassle and makes no sense in the era of amazon prime. i think this brand survives on the US market because of the loyalty of its customers. The supply chain and distribution policy makes no sense.

Me too. I ship to store and today I went to pick it up and walked out with another $75 in purchased. Gah! It’s my weakness.

If you like the Christmas pajamas, this year Target has a knockoff for less (I think it was $15 kids/$25 adults full price). I got us the elf and Santa ones for the few days of Christmas, and then ordered some HA regular ones for the longer term.
