Kid-friendly brunch recipes for toddler's birthday?

Waking up to the smell of homemade bread in the oven for breakfast or brunch is such a treat for my 3 kids. For the recipe I refer to as “the spontaneous breadmaker’s dream come true!”

and read the blog post for Delicious Homemade Bread from April 20/14. Each recipe prepares enough dough for 2-3 loaves, and it can be baked after only a few hours OR refrigerated for up to 3 weeks for a warm loaf of homemade bread whenever the urge strikes! This can easily be prepared the night before then just popped into the oven before guests arrive. Very little work and a whole lot of yummy goodness!

We just went to a kid bday brunch party, the mac n cheese, bagels and cream cheese and lox, fruit, mini quiches and broiled sausages were a hit and SCARFED down by the parents and kids. Make about 1/3 more than you think you will need. Lots of OJ, milk and juice boxes, and big pot of coffee.
