I have heard BES is better at inclusion. Our experience at CCES was a nightmare for our child with ASD. I think a child has to be in the BES catchment but in theory you could request a COSA (change of school assignment) and if both principals agree then you can switch. But it's a numbers game so I don't know how easy it is to make it work. |
Hi PP -- can you expand on why your experience at CCES was a nightmare for your ASD child? We had an older child at CCES and were happy there, but our younger child has disabilities. I have heard that CCES may not be a good fit for that. I am trying to understand why specifically.
