Who is leaking the info on Cain and the harrassment allegations?

What I find unpalatable is accusations with no specifics and no sources. If a man's character is to be judged on this scale, at least tell us exactly what he was accused of doing. Sexual harassment accusations can cover a huge range of offenses from an innocent compliment like telling someone the color of her blouse suits her to clearly offensive and inappropriate actions and everything in between. Without knowing where on this spectrum guesses accusations fall, the media should not be giving this so much air time, IMHO. If they site specifics, then sure, report away.

Guesses should be 'these', blame autocorrect.

Half the reason this is getting so much air time is that Cain's response has been so erratic. He is to blame for not handling it better. Doesn't give me a lot of confidence for how he would handle the office of the presidency.

I don't believe conspiracy theories as a rule, and since this one is coming off the top of my head it's less believable than most, but I'll toss it out anyway:

Could it be that Cain himself is responsible for the leak, in order to get it out of the way early enough not to do fatal damage when the primary voting actually begins? And he "fumbled" the response to keep the cameras on himself so he would look to the tea parties like the victim of the MSM.

Here is the queen of liberal media spreading the latest revelation about Herman Cain:

It may take a while to begin after you hit the arrow. In case it does not work, here is a link to the YouTube page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UySTT-rxwSs&feature=player_detailpage

Here is Maddow a while back providing a stage for Cain. I love the way he tells us that 999 is a solution for the job problem rather than a gift to the rich. It will somehow cut everyone's tax bill while leaving overall revenue unchanged, if I understand correctly???

By the way, the one implacable law about major changes is the law of unforeseen consequences. Does anyone believe a total change in our tax structure can be instituted quickly, smoothly, fairly, and without some major screw-ups, even if it were actually a good idea?

I like Perry's plan. You get to choose the tax system you fall under. So let me see how this works. Turbotax calculates my taxes under plan A and plan B. Whichever is lower, I file.

So everyone who is sane still has to collect and input all the detail, or they may end up paying more taxes than they have to.

And since everyone gets to pick the lower of two plans, it cannot possibly be close to revenue neutral.

Way to go, Perry!

Please forgive me for this 3-in-a-row, but once you get the performance art idea, things become clearer. Like Cain's exclamation that he is the Koch brothers brother from another mother:

Would you want some guy named Cain declaring you to be his brother?

Cain released this himself...more free press. He is not running for president. This is his campaign. Raise money, have his campaign buy his book, give it away at functions, repeat, and do a lot of pay for speaking events. It is very profitable to run for the GOP presidential nomination. Him, Newt and a few other are in it for the cash.
