| Soaps are still on tv? |
| No, but I hate myself for being on DCUM. (Seriously. It is so negative and nasty most of the time, I usually leave feeling irritated, offended, or angry and wondering why I wasted my time reading or posting. I know I should stay off here but I periodically get sucked back in.) |
| I'm a General Hospital girl. Have been since I was 13 (I'm 38 now). I also used to watch Days of our Lives and Another World (anyone remember the latter?). I stopped watching for a long time, but would periodically get sucked back in, especially during my college years. Then about 10 years ago I started working out and needed something to occupy my time on the treadmill. What better than a mindless soap? I record it every day and watch it when I'm working out, doing laundry, cleaning, etc. We always have the TV on at home, so at least this way I'm not constantly searching for something to watch. |
You're not the only one! |
Same here... |
Yes, Todd is back and he's hardly aged in 20 years. I was hooked on OLTL back when he was the evil frat boy stalking everyone in town. I also used to love All My Children when I was younger, when Janet threw Natalie down the well and stole her life -- such a classic storyline. I haven't watched in a long time, but I know my mom was sad AMC was cancelled. |
| DVR YandR and Bold and Beautiful. It is my evening guilty pleasure after the kiddos are asleep. I have no shame in it. |
Me too! And it makes my DH mad when I'm on b/c he thinks this site is vicious and stupid and wonders why I would entertain advice or whatever from people who are so nasty. - OP |
| I've always watched soaps. I love them, and those closest to me know about my habit. Growing up I watched Days, Santa Barbara, and Another World. Right now, I'm in a Y&R phase, but I can follow DOOL and GH too. |
