We just got the "This 'n That" modular sectional for our small space. We went with 4 pieces, so 96 inches one way, and 63 inches the other. It is perfect. And, I am really excited to rearrange the pieces to fit the christmas tree in front of our front windows this year. It is going to be "faaaa-bulous"

| Oh, wait, I just read you wanted something soft. The this 'n that is pretty firm. We bought it for looks. For our family room we went with something from Lazy boy--super comfy, but not that contemporary. |
| Does Jennifer convertibles still exist? That is where my low sectional came from (it was my parents but has been re-cushioned and re-covered). It is nice b/c it's not a high back (very low) so it looks MUCH smaller than most sectionals. It's a 3 cushion section, corner and a 2 cushion section. Our family room is small and it fits nicely without taking up to much room. I would only go for a low profile sectional (just much less bulky for me). |
| The only place we could find to meet our small dimension was Pottery Barn. You can choose your sections to build what you want. Not cheap, but worked great on our long narrow family room. |

OP here...
Went today to Mitchell Gold in DC. Fell in LOVE with a sofa there, and it'll fit into my space. Pricey, but OMG so comfy! Anyone else have one of their sofas? Love it? |
| We got the smallest sectional out there (we hired a decorator to find it for us) ... it's from Basset Furniture. It comes custom in thousands of fabrics and you pick the back and arm rests. We got ours at the Falls Church store but there is also one somewhere in MD. http://www.bassettfurniture.com/index.asp |

We have some older Mitchell Gold pieces, including a sectional, and they have held up well. They were from MGBW, not the lines they make for other retailers, but I'm not sure if the quality is different. They run sales (20-25% off) a few times a year which makes their prices more reasonable. |

We got a small sectional at Hamilton's. It's great because it is firmer than others (we found many that were too soft) and nice quality. We got the matching ottoman and that gives us options for "spreading out". |
This thread is from 2011.. Not sure why you resurrected it. |
