| In Virginia, there are a ton of ABC stores, so it's not that hard to find one that's convenient. I don't drink liquor or use it in cooking, so I haven't been all that inconvenienced by not having liquor in grocery stores. Hell, I'm just psyched to find beer and wine there every day- in KS (where I'm from), you couldn't buy alcohol on Sundays and had to cross state lines to buy in MO. (that might have changed now, though.) |

In NOLA you can even buy hard liquor at gas stations
