Possible move to Langley pyramid

Another Langley pyramid poster here. Our kids are not yet HS age, but obviously, we've met a lot of the kids they will eventually be in HS with. MOST come from normal families, not the hyped uber-rich stereotype you see posts about here on DCUM.

We've even had experience at two of the feeder ES and have found the people at both to be well-educated and involved in their kids' lives, but not obnoxious, ostentatious, or overly concerned with status. Yes, some people have much bigger houses than ours. So what?

I think some like to perpetuate the myth about people in the Langley pyramid, and I'm sure there are families who fit the stereotypes -- but we haven't run into many of them and we've found a greater number of truly nice people here.
