Did anyone see the fatal pedestrian accident on 395 this afternoon?

ITA!!! I live in 7 Corners and this is a big problem here, as well. Especially because so many pedestrians have kids with them on foot and in strollers.

The thing is, the accident was right by the Glebe road bridge/underpass -- I don't understand why he just didn't use that to cross safely!?
