They probably weren't spies but they were stupid. Sometimes stupidity has consequences, maybe ones you need to learn a lesson from and not be bailed out from.

This ranks right up there with Lisa Ling's stupid a$$ sister and friend getting captured in N Korea. Why do we even bother? You know if something like this happened to an Iraqi, no one other than their families would know or care.
