We chose our Quinny Buzz because it has almost of the things the PP listed (everything except that I don't think the regular stroller seat can face you, but I might be wrong about that - haven't thought to try!), in addition to the one-hand fold, and it just felt smoother to us. We were most concerned with the suspension, wheels, extendable handle, and the fact that of all the strollers we tried, the Quinny was sturdy but still light and just the most manageable for me. I also liked the way it looked better. It's not much less expensive but it is slightly (if I am correct that the Cameleon base comes with both the regular stroller seat and the bassinet for $800 -- the Quinny Buzz comes with just the regular seat for $549 and the bassinet is an additional $189). |
I had the bee and sold it on craigslist after only a couple of months.
Positives - It is relative light, collapses down easily, good sun shade, height adjustable handlebar, and I love how the seat can face you and face outward. Negatives - My two month old was not comfortable in the seat and we just ended up using the snap n go for the first couple of months because it was far more comfortable and convenient. The seat also has these wierd side wings and doesn't provide much space for a toddler. It is basically an umbrella stroller and is not good for long walks around town. We sold it because it simply was not a good fit for us. We ended up buying a Bob Revolution for walks around town and a very lightweigh Maclaren for airport travel and quick errands to the mall or grocery store. I bought the Bee hoping that it would meet all of our needs, but I quickly realized that no stroller can do it all. |
