| Anyone with wide calves have them? Do they look as good with skinny jeans? |
| which frye boots do people have? |
Veronica, Carson, and Martina Engineer. |
I've think I heard people with wide calves are happy with the Veronica and Jane in the extended versions. The reviews on Zappos are a good place to get perspectives about that, I think. |
Veronica and Melissa Button |
Just a general word to be careful with this- fitted to your calves is ideal but if you are squeezing into them in the calves, even a little it makes you look like you have bigger legs than you do. A huge gap is not polished looking either but a tad bit roomy at least is better than shoved in there, shoot sometimes it draw attention to thinner legs! |
| I love my mid height engineer boots- but if you need to ask how to wear them on a forum.......then you might not go well into your wardrobe? |
| can you wear the veronica shorts with bootcut jeans? |
I just got the Veronica shorts yesterday. You could definitely wear them with boot cuts. They are roomy enough to fit nicely over skinny jeans, but with not much room left over. |
I agree. They really are the perfect height and width for both bootcut and skinny jeans. The Martina Engineers are as well -- they're similar to the Veronica shorts. |
I have the Veronica's and they are great. Not extended version. Tried Melissa but tight around calves and did not want the two colors the extended came in. |

best boots ever. I wore one pair I bought recently twice for a very short time and then took them on a trip where I walked around in them ALL DAY for 5 days and not one blister. Amazing!
I have the Melissa Button, Melissa zip and a pair of vintage ones that are similar to the current Jane boots. Love them all! |
| Where can I find a good selection of Frye boots to try? Didn't see on their website where they are sold. Thanks. |
| Nordstrom sells them. I bought mine last fall and there seemed to be a decent collection. I am not sure about now. |
Nordstrom at Tysons has a better selection than the nordstroms at montgomery mall, fyi. |
