Ok, thanks I won't.

We are in different countries so it's a gift that works well for that.

Anybody remember the name of an older movie about a woman (maybe English) who ran away to a Greek island (Oh, yes, and found romance)? It might even have had the word Valentine in it...

The King's Speech was a winner, too.

Not OP, but just wondering: Anyone have suggestions where the happy ending si NOT dependent on finding a man?

Shirley Valentine was the name of the movie. Very good.

Last year's "An Education" was excellent and happy ending def NOT contingent on finding a man.

The Keri Russell movie is Waitress. It's great.

Waitress! Yes, thanks!

The Notebook
Ferris Bueller
Up In The Air
One Day (currently in theaters.)
Bridges Of Madison County

BTW, I would go with the ones she most likely has not seen yet (like "Babyboom.")

Cute gift. Maybe you should include a "gift certificate" for some babysitting so she can actually watch them

Thanks for all the suggestions! Can't offer to babysit though - we are in different countries.

If she is in a different country make sure you buy them in the correct Regional format.
