Any specific ballet flat recs?

$300 flat buyer here - yeah, I know. By far the most expensive pair of shoes I've ever purchased! Never would have even looked at them, but I was doing the personal shopper thing at Nordstroms. She pulled these for me and said "Just so you have some options - these go with everything." I have some foot issues (wider feet - not wide enough to need wides, but narrow shoes do NOT fit) and when I stepped into these, it was like wearing bedroom slippers! And they seriously went with everything I tried on. Black, brown, grey, tan, plum . . . . I've never really had a shoe like that!

The first day I wore them, it was like I'd had them for many years. No sore spots or blisters or anything.

But yeah, agree with you on the price. Def. was a mental barrier for me to cross.

I can wear these all day. They are casual and comfortable, but stylish (for my taste).

I just saw these at the shoe store up the street. Are they going to hold up more than one season?

They are my first pair, so I can't tell you for sure. I can tell you the saleslady pulled off her pair (same brand, older style) and said she got them 2 years ago and wears them most days because they are so comfortable. They looked to be in pretty good shape for 2 year old flats. You could mostly see the wear in the sole.

I've had these for almost a year now and I LOVE them:

I can be on my feet for 10 hrs almost straight without dying, and they look good with a suit or jeans. They've held up pretty well, I'd guess they'll last another year. I think I'm going to buy another pair now to have on hand when these kick the bucket!
