marble floors in a smaller bathroom

Remember to get the right grout and seal it appropriately, it will make a world of difference.

If you're near Rockville, check out the Tile Shoppe or Architectural Ceramics, both have great showrooms.

OP here. I freaked and returned the marble tile to Home Depot. I just spent about 2 hours at a tile store and the owner told me that I should go for bigger tiles in a smaller space because it can make the room look bigger. He showed me a ton of pictures of both large and small tiles in smaller bathrooms. UGH. I still can't decide. This is so frustrating.

I was one of the ones who suggested smaller tiles, but it really is all about personal preference. Checking out showrooms and pictures will narrow down what you like. We used houzz.com to sift through bathroom ideas, then spent a lot of time in showrooms, ultimately taking bits and pieces from a bunch of different places to create what we wanted. It is frustrating, there are almost too many choices!

It is personal preference. I understand the thing about smaller tiles in smaller rooms, but we put large marble squares in a tiny powder room, and it looked great. I think small tiles would have been too busy.
