Getting boob job next week

This really depends on your body type and condition. If you are out of shape and/ or you body is disproportionate I can see implants aging you but if your body stays in the same shape and they aren't ridiculously large, there shouldn't be any reason they would look matronly even after several years.

I'm just curious why some of you think implants make an older woman look matronly? Do saggy boobs make an older woman look youthful? That's supposed to be funny. I have implants - but only because my real ones were removed after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm just happy to have something up there.

I had mine done 10 years ago. I love mine but I hated them at first.. seriously went to the doctor after 5 days and asked him to take them out...

Once they relaxed and softened they make me look so much better. Just kind of more portioned. I was barely and A before and I am now a D/DD. I asked for a normal C so they are a bit bigger than what I wanted. As strange as it sounds, people are very surprised when they find out my boobs are not natural. I never show them off or wear really low cut tops. I wear a tank top under most everything but I am a pretty conservative dressier. My only purpose in getting them was to make me look properly proportioned in clothes.

Recovery stinks but it is only a few days. If you plan on having any more children I would definitely hold off.

Good Luck!

Thanks for posting, 13:51, that's my story, too (bc survivor with implants).

One thing I learned while discussing sizes with my surgeon was that they take the dimensions of your ribcage and your overall stature into consideration when picking your ideal implant size. In my case, the implants balance out my naturally wide hip bones (I'm slender, but just have that kind of body build). So, there's lots to think about in terms of how big to go.

To answer the OP's questions--there is a lot of pain and swelling for the first week, but it subsides rapidly after that. I know that eventually the implants will have to be swapped out for a new set, but I'm thrilled to have them.

Mine are silicone, under the muscle.

Re: Matronly, picture the women on Real Housewives of Orange County. They all went too big, have sun-spotted chests, and wear low-cut tops. Very aging. A full B on a thin woman is plenty (and shouldn't be too "aging").
