At my clinic, you went in at 14DPO, which it sounds like people here are agreeing with. Assuming the OP has waited at least 10 days before taking an HPT, her clinic would be saying to wait until 20 DPO to come in for a beta, which seems crazy to me. I'm assuming the OP isn't testing before the 2ww.

So the question is, OP, what DPO are you now?

At 23:41, she said she is 9 DPO, so yes, she is before the 2ww and this could be a false positive.

OP - I go to Reiter, Hill, Johnson & Nevin, which is a fairly large group in the area. They scheduled my first appt. (a sonogram) at 7 weeks, and my first provider appt. at 9 weeks. That's pretty standard.

I went to Capital Women's Care for a pre-conception visit a few weeks ago and they told me to make an appointment and come in as soon as I got a positive home pregnancy test.

So I think it is their practice to see you and do a blood test as soon as you are pregnant, though it may vary by doctor or by patient. (I see Dr. Picco.)
