I always get three days of spotting before my period. When I was under an RE's care for IUI, though, they always tested my progesterone 48 hours after the procedure and told me it was fine. Still, I wondered if I had a problem *maintaining* the right progesterone level in the LP. I am always very regular on my cycles (29-30 days) and on my fourth and final IUI, I started to get the spotting like five days after the IUI and then AF appeared, so on the last one I felt that there was definitely an issue (was about a 25/26 day cycle). That could have been Chlomid messing with my cycle, too, I guess.
Very interesting. I spot for a few days as well, and I have had two miscarraiges.
4:27: Ask your doctor to do serial progesterone tests. one test really doesn't tell anything ...they should be able to see that on days 19, 21 and 23 that your progesterone is rising, or at least not falling.
Interesting. I was given a liquid iron supplement by my accupuncturist last month that also happens to have B6 and B12 in it. This cycle was my first in 2 years to not have any spotting leading up to my period. It just started full-on on day 28, like clock-work. I'll be intested to see if this happens again this cycle -in the mean time going to continue the supplement.
