Finally a CEO stands up to Obama

Being insufficiently enthusiastic when fellating America's overclass obviously poses a significant danger to the nation's economy, but one could argue that intentionally sabotaging the lifting of the debt ceiling might even have worse repercussions.

Hey look! Moody's is on the verge of downgrading US debt.

This is what our slide into the second-tier of nations looks like. Thanks for noticing the real problem OP. You're a perfect tool

I saw some where this guy Wynn was saying what an honor it is to be allowed to do business in China. They have the best government for business. What a tool! Complain about how intrusive the US government is, why we should have a government like China.

Hey, why weren't you titans of industry creating jobs during Dubya's Presidency? Then Obama would've lost and you'd have a President in office of your liking.

Tie the corporate, capital gain, and dividend tax to the unemployment rate. The lower the rate goes, the lower those taxes are.

This guy is the worst president ever. He has no "plan", is only concerned with being the celebrity president and now it shows.[b] Of course DC SAHMs could care less about businessmen and the people who spend their capital to keep this country running so they're still enamored with him.

Flame all you like but it doesn't make this statement any less true. New unemployment claims were up for June. Where the hell are the jobs he promised? The country is becoming a two class system: the very rich and the very poor. Obama has been an experiment I hope we have learned from: Being President of the US is not a "learn as you go" job. Experience is a must."

So who, at this point, will be the most experienced candidate? Like it or not, there is no question; only one eligible person has actual experience as President.

So are the House Republicans, some with tons of experience, ready to let this country's economy go straight into the toilet simply because they oppose tax hikes for the rich? Or is this simply political posturing? Because that's what it pretty much seems to come down to. As far as rhetoric is concerned, seizing a CEO's $100,000 yearly bonus and funneling it directly into social welfare programs would be redistribution. No one is talking about that (well, no one that is looking to get reelected). However, taxing the rich for their fair share is simply just economics-we support numerous nations around the world. Why can't we support the citizens of this nation?

I voted for him but the country cannot afford 4 more years of Obama. There are governors, senators, other politicians from whom to choose. My personal fantasy is that Hillary Clinton resign as Sec. f State and run against him in the primaries, win and then win the presidency.

As the one who posted the comment about Obama being the only one with experience, I did not mean to say that it was a reason to vote for him, since I know many believe that particular experience to be a negative (although I'm of mixed feelings). My point was that it is ridiculous at this point to bitch about his lack of experience.

No, it isn't. The next election experience will matter, and all the other elections after 2008.

What good is experience if it solely consists of hawking the same failed ideas that didn't create jobs in 2001-08 and led the near-implosion of our economy in 2008 -- where our choices now are eternal debt a la Japan or some sort of austerity-fueled crunch?

The GOP gave us an experienced candidate. Unfortunately he thought his job was to be the economic cheerleader. As a result he went around saying there was no problem with the economy.

No matter how much experience you have, it doesn't mean squat if you are flat out wrong. And the party that put him on the ticket has themselves to blame.
