Would you buy a new house while expecting your first?

I just bought a new house while expecting my first and second. I am worried about the higher mortgage payment, but it was important to me to feel settled somewhere before my babies come. And I am sure I will be going back to work.
So far, no regrets, but it has only been a couple of months

If the current place you live is suitable for a newborn (definitely if it's 2 bedrooms), I'd wait and just see how things go. I did end up staying home and never thought I would, but that was after going back to work for about 6-7 months. Aside from that, you may change your mind about where you want to live after you've been doing the family thing for a while.
