Sex drive in middle age

I'm a 50 year old dude and sex-drive has definitely diminished, thank goodness. It seems to go in cycles though, and sometimes it's more noticeable. I find it annoying and wish it would go away all together.

I'm not in a relationship any more and don't intend to be, so I find it a waste of time and energy. I've often wondered if there is some way get rid of it or diminish it further. Any ideas?
