I hate my postpartum breasts - Just found out I am a 38G. Yes ladies - a 38G.

My kids are now 2 and 4, but I remember when my 1st was 4mo old and I went to the BF center to get fitted...and afterwards stood out on the sidewalk on the phone with my sister yelling "a %*$&#* G? A G???? Who the $*%*$ is a G????/" My DH used to call my breasts "the girls," but then he started calling them the "g-g-g-girls." Cute. I was a 38G then. Seemed insane. Now, my youngest is 2 and has been weaned for a year...and I'm a 38DD. But, that's because I still have 25lbs to lose. When I'm down to my "fighting weight" I'm hoping for a 36 D. But, I am also "pendulous," which is basically a nice way of saying that your nipples point toward the floor, right? So, if I ever inherit some big money, I am going to LIFT these suckers UP!

Oh, PP, I love you! I feel the same way. OP again. Was on the phone with him yesterday after my trip to get fitted and we laughed so hard I practically peed my pants (yet another lovely side effect).

Me: I am a F'ing 38G.
DH: What? Do they come that big?
Me: Yes, and I am a 38G.
DH: Well, they will get smaller. But you just ate a muffin in bed last night.
Me: Sounds like a porno. 38G - muffins in bed.
DH: rolling on the phone
Me: laughing instead of crying

I realize I have a good 30 pounds to lose. Honestly 30 to 40. But I know other heavy women who aren't that big!

Yep, after giving birth, mine were a 36F...not fun

Is everyone here trying to say that if we do loose the weight then the breasts will reduce?

Anyone having back problems? I am a 34B and this is my second pregnancy and I'm bigger this time around. I'm wearing 36C bras but not sure that's the right fit for me. I'm having a lot of upper back problems this pregnancy and I'm wondering if my bigger chest has anything to do with it. I know 36C doesn't sound like much but I have a very small frame and I just can't figure out what else would be causing these issues. I had some similar problems before pregnancy due to my posture etc. but I really do feel like pregnancy boobs are making it worse. Ugh. Need to get properly fitted for a better and more supportive bra.

Definitely get a good fitting. The best I've had is at Trousseau in Vienna, and they'll provide free hemming if you're in between sizes. Feel better!

Yes. For ever five pounds its a new bra size - up or down. I lost 40 pounds and went from a DDD to C - lowered number as well.

Does this mean it's POSSIBLE for them to go back to the size they were???

Was a 36 B.... using 38 D now, which may well be too small (have not had fitting yet), and still a few months to go until due date...

I have the feeling, each morning they get one step closer to touch down...

I'm worried that when the milk comes in they will spiral out of control! Anyone have any words of comfort?

Oooh, I'm only 11 weeks and I'm already up to a 38 G! (Up from a 36D) My underwire bra broke when I was conducting and interview last week! I had to buy all new bras - I got a fitting. My husband thinks it's awesome, but less so because I won't let him anywhere near my tatas.

Breast reduction. If you have more than 500mg of boobage, BXBS will pay to remove a hefty portion. I started wearing bikinis again when I was 40. It gets so much better ladies. But you've got to work it.

The image of breast spiraling out of control is pretty funny. But yeah, it gets pretty scary without surgery.

Not only is it possible to go back to the same size, but you MIGHT EVEN GO SMALLER. Which might be appealing for you if you hate your boobs, but if you're like me, an AA is no fun!

I am totally with you all. I have lost all of my baby weight but am now a 30H! None of my button-down shirts fit anymore. When the lady at Nordstroms measured me and told me my size I about fell over!

I have seen bras for these sizes and they look bigger than newborn hats it's ridiculous! I would go for the reduction if I had this problem.

pp, what is this 500mg measurement? that is 1.1 pounds, do they weigh them or what? i want a reduction from my 34Gs.
