What do you do if your FCPS doesn't have SACC?

You can't get into SACC if both parents are not working. Both parents need to be employed outside the home for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

This is the first thing they ask to see if you are eligible for SAAC when you register(do both parents work/attend school). I think this is the point of the previous poster: Even with all the stay at home parents in that particular area there is STILL an enormous wait list. Some SAAC programs are bigger that others the McLean programs are tiny. I wish something could be done to add another teacher or helper to these schools to increase the size program. I'm wondering who to contact about this.

I think PP was just saying that there are lots of SAHMs in McLean, so many children don't need SACC.

Yet the Mclean wait lists are the biggest in the county. 2 years typically!

This just means that the number of SACC slots at these schools relative to the number of students who want these slots is lower than the same ration of slots to studenst wanting them in other parts of the county.
