I am not sure if you have done this yet, but I just did it (DC-HI) with a toddler alone. It was fine. Really. We bought her a seat with FF miles and put her in a car seat which I pulled in a gogo baby. On both flights I occupied her with snacks, a few car toys and the IPAD with an elmo video and she slept a lot. The worst part was that I brought so much to be prepared and my back was SO sore. It will be fine and HI is SO fun with a baby!
