But y'all, their lives were so much cooler when they lived in NW.

Also, her husband is a douche.

I agree. It's not interesting because she never seems to get out of the house. It's all just watch tv and wait for DH to come home.

I think it must be interesting for former biglaw moms turned SAHMs which is her demographic, but she never addresses the fact that it is possible to work in a job that doesn't require all nighters and have ridiculous demands on our time, private lives, family. She seems to address it as working mom = 80 hour a week job with husband who works 80 hours a week. Neither of these are our reality, though of course, neither of us makes biglaw bucks.

Not really a criticism since she writes what she knows, but definitely a limitation to the type of content you will find.

Read some of the ooold posts at dcfoodies.com

"I ate a pork chop. I liked it. This is a great restaurant. We spent a lot of money here, therefore I am a foodie."

Also, I loathe anyone who calls themself a foodie.

Hate mom blogs -

Love Darcy's "blog" if you will http://bedtimemonsters.blogspot.com/ it has actual info I can use.

This is Darcy from No Monsters, thanks so much to whoever posted about my blog, you really made my day. And by the way, I'm also a former big law associate (I worked as an associate for 3.5 years, until my youngest daughter was 18 months old), my husband is still there. I think it's hard when you first leave to forge a new identity and think of yourself as something other than a former lawyer, so let's all cut butidohavealawdegree some slack.

Amalah - I try over and over again to like Amalah, we both have three sons, but he constant complaining about money, the cost of Noah's therapy and schooling, coupled with the incessant spending (etsy, items, eating out) just makes me not like her.

Google Nie Nie. That bitch makes Amalah look like a saint!
