I agree. It's not interesting because she never seems to get out of the house. It's all just watch tv and wait for DH to come home. |

I think it must be interesting for former biglaw moms turned SAHMs which is her demographic, but she never addresses the fact that it is possible to work in a job that doesn't require all nighters and have ridiculous demands on our time, private lives, family. She seems to address it as working mom = 80 hour a week job with husband who works 80 hours a week. Neither of these are our reality, though of course, neither of us makes biglaw bucks. Not really a criticism since she writes what she knows, but definitely a limitation to the type of content you will find. |

| This is Darcy from No Monsters, thanks so much to whoever posted about my blog, you really made my day. And by the way, I'm also a former big law associate (I worked as an associate for 3.5 years, until my youngest daughter was 18 months old), my husband is still there. I think it's hard when you first leave to forge a new identity and think of yourself as something other than a former lawyer, so let's all cut butidohavealawdegree some slack. |
