Hepatits B Vaccination

I refused the Hep B vaccination for my son because I just hadn't known this was coming and hadn't researched. I called the Montgomery County public health office, and they explained that the vaccination schedule is largely done so early because it's one of the few times that doctors are likely to see kids 3x in a single year for well visits. In the end, I couldn't find any evidence that it would be harmful, and I eventually permitted the vaccinations when my son was a toddler -- which ended up being a hassle to ensure that he got all three doses. So now I sort of understand the rationale, but I'm a believer in immunizations generally which I recognize is not necessarily the case for a lot of moms.
