I second Friday Night Lights, it is my favorite TV show of all time. Especially the first season.

Also try Freaks and Geeks if you haven't seen that. Only one season but so good. And so many of the actors went on to have successful careers (James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, etc.)

I love "House" - great acting, writing, even music. It typically follows a formula every time (team solves medical mystery) but they make it work.

Friday Night Lights is back, I've been watching on Hulu Plus. Not sure if regular Hulu has it.

The Jersey Shore! I didn't think I would like it. (I did.) It took about three shows for it to take. You'll like it if you tend to like reality TV.
