| Love the California Love video, and I cannot get on a boat of any size without standing at the bow and singing the chorus of Rio. I've even done it on a canoe. But I also have to go with Express Yourself. I wrote a paper on it and its inspiration (Metropolis) in college. |
Love this one, and also "Save a Prayer" and "Wild Boys" |
| Tonight by the smashing pumpkins....love it! |
| Love Duran Duran, but have to go with "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." God, Cyndi Lauper was AWESOME!! |

The lead singer is 6'6" tall. |
| Thriller, MJ, Material Girl, Madonna, Sledgehammer, Peter Gabriel........and lots more. Too many to list. Anyone remember Centerfold by J.Giels? Was that the first music video? Or was it something by Duran Duran? Anyone know? |

The first video on MTV was "Video Killed the Radio Star."
"Thriller" is one of the all-time, blow-your-mind, most amazing videos. |
Thanks, that was the Buggles, right? Remember when MTV had no commercials and only about five videos that they just played over and over? I feel so old. I have never seen a Lady Gaga video. |
| 7:47, yes. I remember. Toni Basil's "Mickey" and ZZ Top's "Legs" played in an endless loop. I'm old too... |
| I was only 5 when MTV came out and I remember Mickey. Hell I remember Madonna skanking it up all over that wedding cake. That's when I first fell in love with her. |
Glad to see people my age

I miss when videos were epic. Madonna and Michael Jackson type epic. GNR in the 90s did several epic videos, too. And Janet Jackson did, too.
Hmm, I don't know if I could pick just one. I've been rediscovering old videos on youtube recently. My daughter enjoyed the Material Girl video - one of the only Madonna videos approved for young eyes. I know they still do videos, but you have to go looking for them. They aren't the events they used to be. I have a soft spot for the old Britney videos from the late 90's, though. |
