Does anyone know of an adoption agency that will support a gay (International) adoption?

Remember that it is your job to shop around and hire a social worker that will be on your side. Don't just accept the first social worker that an agency sends your way. i would agree that your definition is of a good social worker. i would also say that a social worker who does things "quietly", ascribes to "don't ask/don't tell", etc. implying one who skirts around the rules and is deceiptful is not/not a "good" socialworker.

If we're still talking about an international adoption, not domestic, one of the earlier PPs is correct- it is not the American adoption agency counterpart that sets the no gay adoption rule (though, that could be their own rule, i suppose), but rather the individual country's policies on who they allow their children to be adopted to. I'm not aware of any that allow an openly gay adoption, but I could be wrong. Also, it's unclear if OP is a man or woman. Some countries allow single women to adopt but again, I'm not aware of any that allow single men to.
