I don't get how DCPS thinks it's going to keep those with a choice in the public schools if they ax teachers right and left. There are so many kids in DCPS who need all the extra help they can get, and increasing the student-teacher ratio will only make things tougher.

They are not axing teacher right and left. The classroom sizes are not really rising that much it is an issue of too many teachers for the number of students because of a multitude of issues.
