the funny thing is that they have received rave reviews on fashion blogs and in magazines.

rave reviews? wow. they look like plain sandals. i've seen tons of versions of these shoes for years. what is there to rave about?

I think they're cute but do look like kid's sandals and definitely not worth the $$$

Those look like the Mephisto sandals that old German ladies wear with socks. They are dowdy at best. If you want something like that, go on Zappo's and search Mephisto. Don't you dare pay $295 for those fugly shoes just b/c they're TB.

I think these are okay for the price. And they look less toddler-ish to me than the Tory Birch ones.

You people are doing nothing to sway people's opinion that DC is a fashion wasteland

Oh, they're totally a fancy version of salt water sandals - you can actually buy adult sized salt water sandals (I considered matching mother-daughter sandals but didn't do it) if you like the look but not the Tory Burch price.

I am angry after viewing those sandals for $295. I will now make it my mission to bash Tory Burch any chance I get. That is one of the most ridiculous things I've seen in a long time.

They receive rave reviews because Tory Burch spends all her time sending freebies to magazine editors and bloggers. Her stuff is overpriced and low quality.

16:32 - those are cute but in my experience Born runs small.

Not cute. They will do nothing for you. Only comment you will hear is "You paid what?????" Sensible should not cost almost $300 unless they are custom orthopedic shoes. Hopefully you are not there yet!

I love these, but I'm afraid I'll have to wait till they go on sale. I'm only willing to pay 1,225 for them.

Don't be so cheap--each of those studs was put in by hand!

I love the TB sandals. I normally do not like TB but these are too cute. They remind me of kate spade. I do not agree that all women need heel. I have very long legs and I am 5"10.
I also like the born sandals from rei but I do wonder what they look like from other views.

My thoughts exactly. My son wears pretty much those same shoes and he's 2.5.
