favorite books for babies

Hippos Go Beserk is DD's favorite - and mine too! I love the "guest" that 6 hippos bring to the party Can never figure out what kind of a creature the guest is.

Check out the books by "Begin Smart" also. They do a good job of producing age appropriate books from birth (shocked me to see a book for a newborn!) to about 2.

We really like a series of art books that have things to touch. "pop andy's top", "water Monet's flowers", "brush Mona lisa's hair", etc. DS likes the touch part and I like the art

We also read the Sandra boytain books a lot, esp barnyard dance, moo baa la la la, but not the hippo, and 15 animals.
