Making the transition from breastmilk to formlula - pls. don't judge, help me!

I did this transition twice with my kids. My advice is to first try simply switching a bottle of BM to formula and see how your baby reacts. Mine took both without a hitch. If yours reacts equally well you will save yourself the nuisance of mixing and measuring and all that. If the baby rejects the formula, then you can try the mixing. As for pumping, try not emptying the breasts at each session, and definitely start eliminating sessions and stretching out the time between the remaining sessions. Good luck!
