Bush joined the national guard to avoid the draft and became a jet pilot. Commonly known information. LOL at BO trying to fly a jet. Judging from his inability to throw a ball, bowl a ball, hit a golf ball, keep his underwear off the floor, stop himself from smelling horrible, play basketball without getting stitches...the plane would operate much like JFK Jr's.

Yes, it is well known that daddy Bush got him into the national guard. What is not clear is why he didn't report for duty when he was assigned to Alabama. There is no record that he performed any military service between 1972 and 1973, even though he was listed as being a member of the national guard.

Do Republicans use mind erasers on each other? Y'all sure have short memories.

Why not question his human parentage? If Obama refuses to produce the placenta he drew nutrients from as an embryo and fetus I think we can never really be sure of anything.

Directly relevant to what? Vietnam wasn't exactly an issue when he was elected. Neither was the draft.


Neither were Obama's grades or his SAT scores.


My point was simply that, because it is a standard practice for presidential candidates to release this type of information, and Obama has chosen not to, it lends credence to Trump's argument. Moreover, because it would be so easy to make look Trump look like an idiot by releasing the information, if it in fact refuted Trump's claim, the fact that Obama will not do so suggests there may be something to it. I, personally, think that Obama is obviously reasonably intelligent, but that these records would suggest he is not so brilliant as many like to make him out to be.

POTUS does not need to lower himself to the level of many of his charlatan detractors. Some allegations and attacks are so patently false or disrespectful that they are not worthy of a response.
