For those who claim they love the heat, do you also love the A/C bills that come with cooling your place down, or you can get by with plugged in fans? We're on the third floor of a rental unit, and is there ever a heat gradient. Though I love the greater privacy up here, wow, on days like today it can be unbearable without some kind of cooling in place. |
Me too. Sure wish I could convince DH to move. |
Cali baby! |
Agree. Moisture + Heat= Stink + Fungus |
Today was actually pretty nice though. Not humid. This is nothing. But yes, June - Sept are miserable. When you have to have the AC on and windows closed all summer and have to stay inside most of the time, what's the point of having nice weather? So you have a pleasant walk from the car to the house? For people who've never lived in an area with a beautiful summer, you are missing out. Not sweating the instant you walk outside. Being able to have the breeze go through the house. |
Geez, I am a northerner by birth and by my genes, hate hot weather, sweat at the drop of a hat. But I thought today was nice. I did turn on my car AC for a few minutes though! |
I agree. I would move to the snow and cold if there were any jobs up there. |
San Diego, baby. Low 80's, breezy, and sunny (most of the time). |
Today was nice! |
Agreed - the wind helped a lot! |
