| Not the OP, but I really appreciate the suggestions. I will try them myself! Keep them coming! |
| $150. is not a lot for a salon visit, so I would rather buy decent hair tools - thanks! |

I never blow dry my hair and get tons of compliments on it. I sometimes wear it very short, like above the ears, and sometimes as long as shoulder length. I think it requires a certain type of hair to be able to go without drying it...mine is pin straight and I have a lot of it. That's why I stopped drying it -- it took forever to dry it and it maybe looked marginally better than air-dried hair.
One thing that really helps is getting a very good haircut. No cheapo cuts! |
| I have hair that was stick-straight until I had a baby, and now it has a little bit of a "bend" in it, if I let it dry naturally. I've found that my hair actually looks better if I wash it before bed and just go to bed with damp hair. My hair comes out very full, but not frizzy. In the am, I use a curling iron with a really big barrel to make the ends curve under. But just letting my hair air dry during the day doesn't work nearly as well. But that's the problem with hair, what works for one person doesn't work for another, even if their hair looks similar. You've just got to experiment. |
