Anyone else worried that DC won't be ready for PS3 in August?

Okay, but maybe she's new. No reason not to help.

DC = dear child
DS = dear son
DD = dear daughter
DH = dear husband

These are common abbreviations on most message boards, they are by no means exclusive to DCUM.

Our DD#1 had a November b-day and had been in daycare since she was 18 months. The daycare helped with daytime potty training, all the new kids in the 3 year old room start going without daytime Pullups within the first week or so.
In her PS-3 class there were some kids who did not seem ready for school, besides the potty training a few kids just seemed immature. DD would say "He's little" or "He talks like a baby" or "He can't talk, so he screams and grabs stuff." Some crying at dropoff, missing mommy all day, etc. The ones who seem to have the most trouble are kids for whom English is a second language or who had SAHMs and an early birthday.

PP: Sorry meant to add that looking at all the kids today, they seem to be a happy well adjusted group.
