She didn't say her daughter was wearing a diaper and peed. Like my daughter was just sleeping on the couch (sick and is potty trained) and she ended up peeing. No need to make her feel worse for not having baby wipes. gosh.

This. Urine leaves an odor that lasts forever. Natures miracle is made to break down the enzymes in urine. We used it on mattresses almost every night when potty training

Our couch is not microfiber, but when this happened to me recently I ended up having to call in ChemDry. It cost roughly $140, but it worked.

This question was a couple years ago but I had to follow up on this one. My dog jumped on couch and peed right in center of couch. I have a dark brown micro fiber couch. We thought it was history so I went ahead and took it apart to try if my idea would work. Removed zippered cover and sprayed with Natures Miracle then put it in wash. Took foam and said it on towel outside . First soaked with natures miracle and then hosed off completely so it cleaned through entire foam. Then put mixture of Tide and water and poured that through and hosed it off. Put dry towel on top and walked on it till most of water was squeezed out. Took another dry towel and leaned it up against garage for a day or two outside and let it dry. Everything came perfectly clean. Dark brown Micro Fiber came out great in wash (I even put it in dryer.) Microfiber did not shrink and fit right over foam no problem. No odor or spot left.

I know this is a post from a long time ago but I just found out a great solution for orders and stains. I have a tan microfiber couch and a toddler so I have constant spills and he has gotten a hold of everything from crayons to permanent maker to lipstick and colored on the couch ( i guess thats what I get for trying to take a shower and leaving my 13 year old in charge of the 2 year old lol) I found a youtube video that suggested rubbing alcohol in a spay bottle. Guess what IT WORKS!!! I just sprayed the rubbing alcohol on the spot ( enough to make it wet without soaking it) took a soft bristle scrub brush and scrubbed the heck out of it then a white rag and rubbed it and BAM stain gone. The alcohol dried quickly with no water marks and even freshens the couch. This method even worked to get out the permanent marker and the lipstick. I also tried this method on the cloth seats in my van where the kids got pen on the seats and it took the pen out. So it works on more than just microfiber and rubbing alcohol is cheap. Just make sure the room is well ventilated.

Any of the enzyme cleaners from the pet store. Pour the cleaner over the area and make sure it soaks into the same places the urine has soaked into. Let it air dry.

Wash the covers, use Nature's Miracle on the cushion and let it dry outside in the sun.

There's a huge difference between surface stains and soaked in urine.

Old thread guys. Chances are that the OP has worked it out by now.

No no no just use baking soda and that will absorb the urine. Let it stay on for a bit. Vacuum away the baking soda...... Hope this helps.... They say not to wet the fibers...
GOOD LUCK...

how new? might be under warranty. I just bought a couch from Macy's and purchased a 5 year warranty because the fabric is light.
